hate lazy cooks and stupid servers.
unwilling to do more than your station or learn when we are busy and stupid servers who ask for plus temperatures on steaks and burgers, like i need a medium plus.

That is not a thing. Just squeeze some blood out and hand it right back.

GF moves out tonight. It is over after days of up and down emotions, it is good but I feel like total crap. I can wallow at work or get carried away in the work. At least I can listen to any music I want. It is going to be a long work day.

Seriously wtf is medium plus? Is that like medium well for crybabies?

SpeshulEd 09-01-13 01:33 PM

The plus just means they pull that one off the grill last.

It's medium well for people who feel shame asking for medium well. Another of my favorites is "medium rare on the rare side" for people who like medium rare but think they get tough guy points for saying "rare." Always gets sent back if it's under medium rare plus.

SpeshulEd 09-01-13 01:50 PM

I keep it simple, medium rare for steak, medium for burgers. If I'm in a really nice restaurant, I usually say whatever the chef prefers.

GENESTARWIND 09-01-13 01:54 PM

I'm lead grill cook trust me i know and it irritates me every time a server asks. no matter how many times i explain it to them. medrare and medium well are already inbetween temperatures.
people are stupid, those and people who want a medium well or well done juicy steak......

Life's not easy, gotta make the most out of everything, flip side is now you have more room for bike/ bachelor stuff. :)

I keep it simpler. Rare for beef, medium rare for pork, whatever the chef prefers for everything else (tends to be medium rare).

Today I went riding with 2 friends, we rode some real hard trails, took us 8 hours to cover 75km. I crashed while riding my friend's XTR equipped full suspension bike, apparently I don't know how to ride bouncy geared bikes, I felt really weird riding his bike.
We stopped at a farm house to ask for some water, the guy brought us a 2 liter bottle of coke, ice cold and invite us to eat some of the barbecue he was cooking, ****ing awesome day.

LWC stuff looks pretty neat actually. I've been saving up for a new kit, and I think I can actually afford this.

You guys should join a sponsored bike racing club, and you'll either get your kits for free or at a deep discount. My current club sells members kits at 50% off msrp and they are LG, which is very good.

johnnytheboy 09-01-13 05:45 PM

Today I got a professional bike fit.
On the caad and crux:

Raised the saddle 1.5cm
Dropped the bars 40mm
Lengthened the stems from 100mm to 120mm
12cm of saddle to bar drop now.
Looks aggressive, but feels good man.

It's not a road racing club. It's a road / track / XC / MTB racing club. Just tell them you plan on racing at Kissena.
