Or not, especially these days... I know a brilliant mechanical engineering friend who started as a teller for gas money and now in charge of a region of banks. Turns out his choice of GE's proved more than his BS all together.

ya... but fortunately for him he had a great backup in case the whole gas/banking thing didn't work out for him. ME is especially good around here w all the defense industry as u know.

My supervisor is a cool example too: he doesn't even have his BS (in chemistry)!. Started interning at a local pharma company while studying for BS chem at UCSD. They liked him alot, and employed him as a full time organic chemist! He was making bank so he dropped out of school, made his way up the ladder in the industry and now has a senior scientist level position with salary comparable to most of our PhDs

I think I'm gonna open a business.

Today I got in a facebook fight with nephew over politics. He was *****ing about obamacare and welfare, so I reminded him about all the government aid he's received throughout his life...then told him to stop being an ignorant redneck.

He's got the bar width = inseam goin' on. Of course I had to check if I could get that, but nope, widest 31.8 bars I could find were 5mm short. SO close!

... decided to rain-ride in the dark with no lights; went into a crack in my driveway and tacoed my front wheel. At least it was a short walk home.
