johnnytheboy 11-04-13 07:55 PM

anything under 50 and i'm frozen most of my ride.
but for 3 months out of the year, i regularly ride in 100+ degree temps.

Mumonkan 11-04-13 08:20 PM

to be fair its only 45 mins if i take the long way, half hour for the short way

but being up here im a lot more used to it. that and im almost always hot no matter what temp

This!

I use arm warmers when its under 70. I'm a wuss.

TMonk 11-04-13 08:43 PM

Im sort of in between.

60 and below: arm warmers or LS jersey
50 and below: above+knee warmers (or leg warmers), shoe covers, wind vest, knit gloves
40 and below: above-knee/leg warmers and + padless tights over bibs, thicker gloves, base layer, thermal cap covering ears
30 and below: **** it I'm not ridin'

spRICE 11-04-13 08:46 PM

65 and below I have thick wool socks, wool knee warmers, arm warmers, long gloves, and a wool cap. Take off my cap halfway through, leave everything else on, and I don't get hot.

TMonk 11-04-13 08:48 PM

i like leaving my legs bare but my knees hurt if its 50F and below.

same w gloves... hate wearing gloves.

Sometimes I just want to punch people, was following behind this guy and he kept pedaling then coasting and just overall going a slow pace so I decide to pass him and once he sees me on his left, he starts sprinting which causes me to look like an idiot cause I can't merge back over into the bike lane. I pick up a little past him and then he just keeps pushing and passes me again, only to slow back down and just go slow the whole way. I didn't dare try to pass him again because I didn't care and I"m "trying to take it easy" since I'm damaged at the moment. Dude would get to the stoplight and be huffing and coughing from out of breath but just wanted to be in front for some reason.

What don't you understand about cat6?

Everything, I guess. I did kind of want to ask the guy when he was going to be bumped to cat 5 but figured he wouldn't get it.

Wound up next door to a harbor freight tools today and went inside; a first in a long, long time.

Initial thought was "WOW everything is so cheap! The selection is awesome! ". Then remembered the sketchiness of everything they sell and left without buying anything. :roflmao2:

Mumonkan 11-05-13 01:15 AM

today i told my friend about me and his sister

he was totally cool and understanding about it, and talked about how he wanted us all to hang out more

how is this my life?

Just don't puncture.
I used to take this approach until I punctured one day and felt like I would die. Was shivering and shaking and couldn't get my hands to work enough to get the tire off. Good thing I was on a bus route.

I'm tempted by the fruity ratchet endwrench set.

I bought their colored 1/4 inch socket set and use the 8mm daily and hasn't broke on me yet.

I have to take a week or so off cycling and take the train to work, life sucks cause all I want to do is enjoy the fall leaves. I also went to work without work shoes so having to work all day in spds.

Dannihilator 11-05-13 03:17 PM

Today I rode more dirt. Which I am starting to get burnt from, if assembly goes smoothly next week, I should be on a shake down ride at this time.

Today in engineering, we were given the opportunity to solid model a part that we want to have 3-D printed.

Any ideas? I was thinking Garmin mount, but I already have two.

Edit: Maybe bottle cages?
