Enjoy San Diego
This is the one thing that burned me up, finally back on something road worthy and it figures that it has to be the south arctic here.

Do this^^^

From what I'm hearing you're close to some of my favorite places for grub in SD. Give amarin thai a try, one of the best thai places in SD. Down for burgers? Go to crazee burger which is close to you too, go try their exotic burgers.

We're having the time of our lives here and eat at excellent places every day (including the ones you mention), I'm just really itching to ride.

Today I swam in the ocean at Silver Strand Beach, ate lunch at Hodad's in OB and had a few Moscow Mules at Small Bar with the misses.

I completed my CC's welding program last year. It was fun and very informative. I learned stick, TIG, MIG, and FCAW. The instructor was a very knowledgeable guy with decades of professional experience. You will enjoy the metallurgical and mechanical aspects (face crystal formation, heat-affected zones, etc.) and learn to hate the electromagnetic phenomenon of "arc-blow" when you begin vertical 7018.

I think you're right. Seems right up my alley.

Not sure if you will enjoy working in the field, though. Generally pretty rowdy dudes that might not take kindly to your brand of sarcasm. Do you have much blue-collar work experience? I ended up not seeking employment after I got my certification and mostly use my welding education for personal projects and a bit of odd-job cash now that I have a TIG machine.

I'm probably one of the most polite and likable people you will ever meet in your life. There is a huge difference between an internet forum, and a real life work place. I very much understand the difference.

99% of my work experience is blue-collar.

Also, the Lincoln Procedure Handbook of Welding is amazingly informative. It's like the official welding textbook. Most of the people that post on welding forums regarding technique don't seem to know what they are talking about. This guy has pretty good videos on technique if you need supplementary material: http://www.youtube.com/user/weldingtipsandtricks

Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.

Today I built bikes and the money was easy. Bunch of kids bikes, coaster brakes, no training wheels, air in the tires. 5 minute builds.

After work I took my grandma out for dinner for her birthday. It was nice.

Today I started thinking about buying a car. MANN WHYYYYYYYY

GENESTARWIND 11-14-13 06:04 AM

Get a motorcycle, an aprilia to be precise. Best bike I've ever owned. Miss it so much. Had an 07 rsvr factory. Pure sex

Dannihilator 11-14-13 04:09 PM

Today I threw out the notion of easing back into things and put in 63 miles, busted a shoe in the process.

Dan pushes body too far, breaks shoe.

Today I will be going downtown to buy a PS4 at the Sony launch event. Apparently 444 ps4's onsite so I should have no problem getting one.

Several hours on the dirt today. **** this heat, man. 80-90 degrees the whole time feeling like heat stroke is going to smack me in the face.

Vinyl is before my time. CD's are much better than cassette tape though.

johnnytheboy 11-14-13 09:21 PM

and more reliable.

FLAC/Lossless is where its at. 320kB MP3's sound good though. I have my Byerdynamic DT880's hooked up to a Fiio DAC and it sounds great to me.

Nagrom_ 11-14-13 10:04 PM

I've got close to 2tb of music.

johnnytheboy 11-14-13 10:24 PM
