It means meth user. Now that I think about it that probably explains the wheel disassembly.

Scrodzilla 05-19-14 07:32 PM

Precisely.

He took apart his wheels to spray paint them? That's novel.

It was less of a paint job and more of a paint nightmare.

ordered new Sidis on eBay when I was drunk at ~25% below wholesale incl. shipping (win) without realizing they are Speedplay specific (ouch). My buddy is gonna sell me pedals and cleats for sub-$50, so I figure it's sort of a win? Always been curious about the whole Speedplay thing. Gonna dive right in. yolo #yolo

May has been a killer for me on the 3rd I did a gravel century. On the 10th I raced Maisies Pride 100 miles (in my opinion it is the hardest gravel race in Kansas). Last weekend I raced Almanzo 100 which was a ton of fun and something I think everyone should do once. By the way this happened at Almanzo:

To cap it all off, I have the Dirty Kanza 200 on May 31st. Gravel season is almost done!

I wish I could remember where I found the photo, there is also a video, apparently they ran with the lead group of 10 miles?

when i have the early shift on campus and i ride in through the back way, i run with deer the same way, it feels pretty cool honestly

sometimes i yell and haul ass and race them, they always win.

iTripped 05-20-14 02:03 PM

We have 'swim with dophins' programs but nobody is doing 'bike with horses'?? Somebody is missing out on a business opportunity here.

Yesterday I took my sister for her first bike ride since she was a kid. She did 12 miles fixed. I was impressed.

Today I got a whole bunch of sunburn while at the beach.

Dannihilator 05-20-14 09:42 PM

Today I got in 44 miles.

bro 05-21-14 12:10 AM

Leukybear 05-21-14 02:07 AM

Today I broke down and went over to the swankiest LBS here and ordered myself my 1st specialized-off-branded sworks (what's a swork anyway?) roadie. :D
It'll be the first bike I can feasibly SLAM DAT STEM with.

I crunched the geo numbers of the venge and I could get away with it. Basically they designed the bike with this mindset in mind. It was a hint at which sworks I got.
