Today I bought A trek 2000 with shimano sante, paint is pretty rough, has no cables and came with a 26inch front wheel, but mechanically everything seems right, will post before and after pictures tommorow when I clean and cable it up.

not bad for 50 bucks

We once played with all the expansions and what took 6 hours felt like only an hour.
For the record, I did not win because there was much a-drama and ganging up on.

I've driven through SC before, yet never been able to stop. I will say that it's been my favorite state to drive through. From my limited experience, it seems very peaceful. Charleston, SC is actually on my list to visit sometime. I'll have to remember Monzas if & when I get there!
Oh and i LOVE beets! Just cooked up these ones the other day that I got from the farmer's market:

I have about 6 random weeks off till the end of the year. I want to plan a SOLO trip 7-10 days the end of sept / beginning of oct. Where should I go? Not looking for beaches or anything like that, I just want to explore.
I was thinking Vietnam. I wanted to do Thailand but from what I've read the government is a bit messed up right now.

I think I'm going to Machu Picchu this November with a friend so don't recommend Peru.

India. Or you could do a lot of Europe in that amount of time if you planned it. Do a couple days in Prague, Vienna and Bucharest.

Come to Cambodia, start in Shianoukville, ride to Kampot, Kep, up to Phnom Penh, thru to Kampong Cham, up to Kratie, on up to Stueng Trang, back over to Preah viheah and down to seim reap, then over to Viet nam and you are on your own from there.

Hmmm sold thru HD too.
I'm not too trusting of chinese aftermarket parts though. Why compromise a manufacturer's derailleur design to save a less than a handful of grams? They for sure put a whole lot more engineering R&D in their products than their chinese counterparts.

Wrong forum guys. This is fg/ss. Let's take this talk of derailleurs elsewhere...

Seriously though, WTF?

The microSHIFT Alloy CNC-Machined Derailleur Pulleys are a performance upgrade for most cyclist at a fraction of the price of more well known brands. microSHIFT's "Shift and Go" shifting has become a standard among the cycling industry since its introduction in 1999. So, if your riding style calls for simple accurate shifts, microSHIFT will be a good choice. We provide world class quality and top level shifting performance.

I love the description. "the standard since 1999". Gotta love that shift and go...
