I'm a freelance print designer in a digital world and I take pride in my work. It's exciting for me to see my stuff go to print outside of my home studio. I've designed over 600 books for independent authors. When I see someone carrying a book that I've designed, it's a boost for me.

I wasn't trying to make money off of the forums. I'm not some corporate pig. I'm just proud of what I do and today was a bit of a milestone.

I took it down though. So carry on. Didn't mean to step on any toes or violate the forum rules.

You're more than welcome to post your designs, but linking to a purchase site is a bit much. Nice work, though. My gf is a graphic design artist. I know it's a tough field to work in. Congrats on your success.

Haha, it was a fun little bike.

I appreciate that man! And I totally get where you're coming from. I got excited. LOL! Also... I'm with you on the "is this bike good or bad" stuff.

Hockeyteeth said I can't put this here. So nevermind.

I saw it earlier and I can easily picture urban outfitters selling it.

God, I wish they would. I'd sell out in a minute and buy errbody on here a new bike from Retrogression. We could all retire. LOL!!! :thumb:

Also, I'll take that as a compliment, whether you meant it that way or not. :D

It's a compliment. I/ a lot of members here won't buy it but I know for sure there's rambunctious youth that will with their parent's money.

Thanks. :) I figure it appeals to a more... "hip" crowd. If you know what I'm getting at.

Today I went to the pawn shop not knowing they were having a 10 for $10 sale and came back with these.

Did my first Century on Sunday, albeit on my geared bike. I felt sick 70 miles in, I think my nutritional intake during the ride wasn't adequate; that and the fact that I finished up my midnight shifts 2 days before so my body wasn't completely in normal swing. Overall I was happy with the ride, though I wish I felt better. I did it in about 7 hours, averaged roughly 14mph, 4200 calories burned.
I also sold my Aerospoke wheel today; looked cool but was too heavy for what I needed. I broke even.

Wow that is sure purdy.

What was the process you used?

iTripped 09-10-14 01:41 AM

Some fine work there. Another vote for notes on the process / materials used. I remember the before pictures and the difference is startling

heymatthew 09-10-14 05:05 AM

Those look amazing! Did you use mag polish? I see a lot of guys on the *** forums doing 1911's and Glock slides with mag polish and a buffer wheel. Interested to know if you did something similar.

Yesterday I ate way too much Portuguese BBQ.
Today I slept in way partially because of that.

Huffandstuff 09-10-14 11:32 AM

Raced my first ever cross race last night, started at the back of the pack since I was taking the first lap easy. Ended up getting comfortable after that and placed 11th for the c class. Think I got my roommate interested in racing it too.

I'm not a doctor or anything, but I'm pretty sure you have a rather substantial lump on your forehead.

Carcosa 09-10-14 01:00 PM

One of your eyes forgot to wake up.
