Sold a shirt for $172 to a well known fashion photographer, lol. Might buy stuff for my bike.

Scrod - what happened? That sucks.

Unkle Rico - that's awesome! I have a buddy that has done it the last few years but took this year off because he was too busy. It's quite the journey....one of these days I'll attempt it.

Mumonkan 06-08-15 07:49 PM

today i dialed in the fit on the surly a bit more and wrapped the bars, put new parts on the trek and realized i measured BCD wrong so i have to use old cranks for those dope ass drillium rings i got

anyone know if shimano ever made a compact or triple in the 6400 series with 110bcd?

also i think i ****ed up my thumb the other day when i ate **** doing wheelies in the parking lot. it feels like it needs to crack but if i try it doesnt, then it just hurts.

I believe the nearest ones would be the 6206 VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano FC-6206, 600EX

MT 60
http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.as...=115&AbsPos=28

Or MT 730 , one of which I currently use
VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano FC-M730, Deore XT M730

Thanks :thumb: You should totally do it -- the whole ALC experience was so amazing!

It was spread out over 7 days so in that regard it was non-stop -- when averaged out, I was doing about 78 miles a day. Ride was via ALC which was an amazing experience. I felt like if i were doing this route again on my own that I could probably do it in 5 days but that would be an intense ride :twitchy:

Muffin Man 06-08-15 08:58 PM

I had a friend do that ride. Apparently he was on the top 500 fundraisers or whatever it was called.

I want to try that one year, but I'm still in school at that time :(

Just realized that when I finish this dean, I'm going to have ridden pretty much all the materials to make bike frames from, and used all three major manufacturers of groupsets.

I have a problem.

today i set up the ailerons on the nature boy tubeless.
2 passes of stan's tape, orange seal 60mm vales, 2oz of stan's sealant and foldable kenda tires. seems ok for now....
i'm kinda torn....i don't NEED to go tubeless- especially on a commuter/fun bike- but i really wanted to.....

Tubeless is the bees knees. Super low pressures are comfy.

Today I met up with Dave Sommerville to start the process on my custom Colossi road frame.
Going to be expensive, but I thought about it and said...

worth noting that style =/= expensive.

johnnytheboy 06-09-15 06:40 PM

WTF, seriously? What kinda lock were you using?

Cynikal 06-10-15 01:38 PM

It was freelocked with a Ulock. I kept the bike at work for lunch training rides. It was an 2000's Fuji track so it was nothing special and totally replacable but still bummed.

what does "freelocked" mean?

Doesn't matter what it was, always sucks to have something stolen.
