I had a ulock around the rear wheel and seat tube but it wasn't locked to anything.

franswa 06-10-15 02:18 PM

Why??

franswa 06-10-15 02:19 PM

Today I rode 31 miles in 95 degree temps(feels like 102). Last ride on my beloved Fuji. Kinda sad.

Mumonkan 06-10-15 02:25 PM

think he means the wheel locked to the frame but the bike itself not locked to anything stationary

blows man. new bike day comin tho.

franswa 06-10-15 02:30 PM

Which isn't locked up at all. Why???

Mumonkan 06-10-15 02:40 PM

"secured bike parking @ work"

i put mine in front of my desk which is in a high security server room, not locked to anything

wouldnt expect my coworkers to steal my bike either

Unkle Rico 06-10-15 02:41 PM

Yeah, it was in a badge secured area where we keep the bike share fleet.

Any security cams ? Hard to believe someone working there would risk their job and career to steal a cheap bicycle.

jlafitte 06-10-15 03:11 PM

Yeah don't give up so easy.

Cynikal 06-10-15 03:14 PM

Oh, I'm not giving up. No video but I'm checking access.

Remove the bolt and give a little pry with a big flat blade screwdriver?

Mumonkan 06-10-15 04:53 PM

hidden bolt 600 stem :(

Unkle Rico 06-10-15 04:54 PM

Wrong bar dia?

Mumonkan 06-10-15 05:11 PM

just a tight bend in the bar. if the quill was 20mm shorter i could turn it past the drop section

its like one of those puzzles with the 2 nails bent around each other

Today I had a nervous breakdown over excel/work bull****, so I said f'it and went for a 28mile bike ride.

That fixed everything...except for still having my **** job that I'm totally over.

Today I'm 100 pages into Dune and decided to look it up online because it appeared to be a massive universe like LOTR. I wish I hadn't. Now I see people praising it to greatness while others frankly state it is shallow and dull. This damages some of the fun.

prooftheory 06-10-15 09:00 PM

First book was awesome but don't bother with the rest, at least if my memory of it from thirty years ago is accurate.

spRICE 06-10-15 11:47 PM

Today I just impulse bought my GF a road frame. Guess she's getting into cycling! :p
