Rhyno Lyte? Odyssey Hazard Lite?

Today I made a cherry pie from scratch with some cherries I picked in town. Vegan crust is tricky. I also learned to make pitas. I am cooking so much better food up here than back home where you can buy it all so cheaply. I've been making jellies and **** like crazy.

Mmmm, looks tasty. I miss the cherries on the west coast.

Bmx Rims at Danscomp

I remember when Mavic used to make super nice BMX rims. I'm old.

Wondering if I'm gonna have time to clean my bike before I begin RAGBRAI. At least my drivetrain has been taken care of.

The sqrl has family in the countryside and well they ruined my expectations for how fresh fruit should taste like....

At first glance, I thought you listed Dallas.

No love for NOLA?

Today I am headed out MTBing, my first biking passion. I have been riding my soon to be commuter every day, trying to work out the details. I have gotten some crap for weird mods to my commuter, like the clip pedals and Reynolds wheels. Funny how some folks feel a huge needs to criticize in place of just saing it is not their taste. But, my MTB is straight forward, and my favorite bike ever. Tomorrow, though will be a Langster love day, my second favorite bike. Not sure why, and I am sure ther are better SSs out there, but the Langster just works great for me. Beauty and the Beast....

nah Dallas sucks. New Orleans is awesome though, I simply forgot to ad it, despite having lived there a short while, and tattooing at Orleans Ink. Also, Seattle is a great place too, although I only tattooed there for about 3 months at Lucky Devil in the 90's, and forgot to list it..

When I was a kid in OC my best friend's uncle was a grower for Sunkist. He'd get oranges picked ripe from the tree instead of the weeks too early versions that was sent to market. The peel would just fall off and the meat was from heaven.

I can't eat an orange from the store now. Ruined, like you.

Rain. Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain.Rain. I couldn't cope, personally.

And what's up with the roads in Washington? Horrible. You guys have nasty sales and gas tax, yet the coins don't appear to make their way to highway repair. When on a business trip once, I drove all over Sea-Tac and down to Olympia and I thought I'd lose a filling from my tooth from the vibration. Army Tanks could get stuck in some of the pot holes I saw. :p

Ironically, the 5-6 times I've been to Seattle it was sunny and gorgeous. It really is a green and pretty area.

I love Oakland!!! Its Chinatown is more Chinatowny than SFs.

Plus : More hookers and fewer tourists.

What about all those 24" youth road bikes and Terry bikes?

They have so many I'd never be able to choose. A zillion.

The rain thing is partly myth, given a lot of big cities get more rain. But, keep the myth going.

between the airport and Olympia there is a stretch of road that is horrible, and has been for as long as I can remember. It is right as you cross two counties, and I think they are fighting over whose responsibility it is...

The summers here are beautiful, and the winters just enough to know it is winter, but not enough to suffer. But, do not tell anyone.

today i did 90 miles and 5000 elevations on some mixed gravely roads, got 3 flats. the last two happened 7 miles from the end and would not hold a patch and i ran out of patches and tires. once i build my new wheels im never running tubes again. garmin had a stroke at the bikeshop i limped into, thought i lost all my data and nearly killed someone.

saw a ****ton of animals, dope ass farmlands. enjoyed almost spinning out 115 GI on a downhill. also didnt even almost bonk, got this food thing figured out thanks to my little garmin alarms.

now apparently the island is locked down because theyre looking for some people that "may or may not have machineguns....or they might be paintball guns" and of course an off duty cop photographed these people, one of them had a headscarf so everyones losing their ****.

Haven't been around for a while because I've barely ridden since I bought my lazy jerk machine (car). Today I finally rebuilt my Shogun as a single-speed and I'm gonna go ride it a little later.
