+1 to all the 'get well soon' comments cali_axela. I too have had a few concussions from bike accidents. It sounds like you've got your head on your shoulders (pun intended :))

Thanks guys. Also, I am seriously taking advantage of Oregon's great medicinal marijuana regulations. Combined with ibuprofen it helps just as much, if not more so, than the oxy they prescribed, without nearly as many side effects.

Why bother with MMJ when you can pay cash money for some RMJ?

MMJ leaves a paper trail...

Higher daily limits for things like edibles with MMJ than with RMJ. Worth it for me right now rather than having to make the trek back there every day or two...

Today I realized that Vic Romano is the same guy as the main character in Sonatine.

Just got back from an interview for the Steamfitters apprenticeship and I have to wait another month to know if I'm in or not. fingers crossed.

Today I cured my hangover with 35 miles of HTFU.

Got back last week from Yellowstone/Grand Teton/Boulder.

I was happy I went during the off season, especially with the weather behaving.

Yellowstone was cool but I don't see myself going back, unlike Zion which I would love to go back to. Yellowstone was more of a drive to a location and walk around then get back in the car. We did do back-country camping a few nights. Next trip will most likely be Australia and then Machu Picchu.

^Rad pics. Today I ran 19 miles.

Carcosa 10-09-16 06:29 PM

Looks like a great trip. would love to get in the mountains out West.

Today I still don't have power. Stupid hurricane.

Edit: Sounds pretty callous considering how badly Haiti and Florida got hit...

Rad workout! I haven't run in over a week, because I've had a cold. I'll try to start running next week, but I never go as far as 19 miles. I usually do from three to eight miles, twice or maybe three times a week. I think my longest run was about 12 miles.

That is why you can't yell FIRE! in a crowded theater?

Well, I WAS in the hospital on the night of the Aurora shooting.

I think they would care when they are denied ****ers after paying ten bucks.

I went camping last night, was pretty rad! Forgot my stove fuel so cooked over the open flames had zucchini pasta with a vodka sauce...not too shabby. We then took brownie mix and RC cola and maybe Crownies and slathered that in frosting. The hike was nice but my friend slipped and fell on a log and hurt his ankle.

I need a presta pressure gauge. Somehow I'm getting away with running <32 psi (my baseline pressure) in 33mm clinchers without pinch-flatting. I have no idea what pressure I used during the race yesterday, but it worked.

Thanks. That is great, 13 is the farthest I've ran, and I haven't done that in a while.

I definitely recommend it.

Excellent work! It's the same way for me. Much rather heal with a plant than some crazy chemicals.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

;) They are available in a few different pressure ranges too, from 15 max to 160 max, so you can get what suits your tires best.

Bought this directly from the manufacturer for $13.00 shipped.

Best fitting gauge I've ever used. Once in place you can let go and it stays on the stem by itself!!! And the bleeder works great.

Yeah, the 0-60 would be perfect.

Mumonkan 10-11-16 01:19 PM

A lot of my fatbike cohorts love them analog 0-15 jams. I think im gonna grab one this year as my digital sks airchecker has been wonky lately, i think i smushed the seal inside the presta connection
