No. Ride that bike until it breaks, save whatever you were planning to spend on "upgrades" and put it towards something worth "upgrading."

don't. and not to be a dick, but that is clearly a bad tubing/bad geo trend-hopping "fixay" not worth putting money into unless you plan on transitioning better parts onto a better frame later.

Ah yes...this is one of those "I have no idea about anything but want a definitive answer of what I should buy right now" threads.
Do you want good, honest advice? Hang out on the forum for a while and do some research.

You have thin skin. He gave you advice. You obviously know jack **** on the topic, so read up before continuing to ask dumb ass questions.

Another one of my top five favorite generic threads! Sick username breh.
Go to a bike shop or co-op and figure things out from there, y'know, like a halfway intelligent and rational person would do. Assuming you live in a semi-populated area you have at least one of the two at your disposal. In the meantime, htfu

I live in Nicaragua, Los Miradores. Where im from bikes are illegal, i have to hide it in my attic and i can only ride late at night or early in the morning. I was referred to this thread by the elders of my local tribe. Although bike riding may be illegal my ancestors we're amazing cyclists and we try to keep that skill alive. In my country if you are found riding a bike, you are tortured then hung in front of all the local tribesmen. I came here looking for help. I said to myself "maybe the americans could help me" I guess i was wrong.. This may be my final post here. I just wish i could of got some help. Because of this i am estimating my tribe will become extinct within the next 7 hours.
