i'd definitely need to be wasted to do the ride back.

for columbus kids -- is critical mass still going on? i seem to recall it being on mondays, but i don't really remember and haven't heard anything about it recently.

Not really a kid, but I'm in columbus, and act pretty much like a kid...

Critical Mass here, usually the last Friday of the month, but I have not been to one since last summer...

yeah, i guess i'm not really a kid either -- i call my parents kids if that means anything.

i wish there were some decent, up-to-date information about critical mass.

whereabouts in columbusland are you? i, perhaps not too surprisingly, am in the campus area -- from worthington.

The monday 9:30pm ride stopped going around New Years. I showed up in the snow a couple of times after that but I was the only one. Don't know when it'll start back up again

at least i wasn't hallucinating when i thought that there was a ride on mondays. it definitely needs to start up again -- it's not that cold outside. are these things organized by anyone or is it just the sort of thing where a few kids decide to go one week and then more start showing up on subsequent occasions?

i am dying to go on a decent ride -- i'm entirely too out of shape right now and need to start building up to do longer rides this summer.

not organized at all, just sort of whoever shows up, sometimes there's alot sometimes not.

they might have already started back up actually, check out the forums on https://www.columbuscycling.com/ specifically the group rides forum.

I'll try to show up next Monday if I can

hey man, welcome to the forums. I was wondering how long it would take before you would appear here.

I'm going to be in c-bus in a couple weeks. perhaps I'll steal my bro's bike and we can get sloshed/ride around. interested?

I'll swing down tonight, but i think i'm bringing the road bike and not the fix. If it rains, i'm out. I didn't spend this much on a trainer to ride outside in the cold and wet at night.

yeah, i know i'm a wuss.

I live in Grandview, and I just started riding fixed a month or so ago. I had the chance to hang out with a bunch of like-minded folks in Chicago a couple weeks ago, so it'd be great to find a group like that here.

Hey, just came across this thread.

If you'd like to I can make some sort of announcement on the site (columbuscycling.com) saying that the Monday night ride is trying to get back together. Let me know, and I'll put something together. I might be able to ride with you guys next Monday (the 14th) let me know when and where. I hate the damn cold though, so I might have to wait until things warm up around here a little bit. Like I said though, I'll help out the publicity side as much as I can.

Hey, this is "brut", using my new and improved username. How was the turnout tonight? I had prior commitments, but I definitely want to make it out in the future.
