I saw an old road bike rolling around here last summer. That's about all I know. I think it's Italian. It looked like a quality marque.

Bikes: 1 trek, serotta, rih, de Reus, Pogliaghi and finally a Zieleman! and got a DeRosa

Italian frames from Verona (I think), have been in business since the mid 1920s.
The only catalogue that I can find shows 2 different Track frames,
Top of the line is Columbus SL, the other is Carbon Steel (unspecified manufacture).
Here are pics of them. The Red is the Columbus frame.

Chesini is a good company and makes good bikes. Enoch's bikes sold them in the early 90s.

I recommend them highly. At least the old steel bikes..

i just picked up one of these chesini's at a yard sale. its in like near perfect condition. it has the columbus frame SL (the one pictured above cept in blue) it has all dura ace and campy parts and came with an extra set of rims. i cant find hardly any information in english about this bike, any information would be greatly appreciated. im also interested in selling this bike because its a little big for me. its size 56-57 serious offers only. i can send a whole set of pics/specs in a week when i get home.
