Fort frames
Hey,
Does anyone have any hands on experience with those types of frames, in particular the track models?
One of my LBS's will be getting three models in near the end of March. Track, road, and I'm not sure about the other one, I do not care. I looked online and could not even get a glimspe of either frame, but very curious as to how they handle. My friend is charging a pretty reasonable price for the track frame so,
any info that I could use would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to compare the Bianchi Pista that's still at one-on-one downtown, and I know it won't be there for long. Just trying to get ready for the Blaine Velodrome season and I do not have a track specific frame yet. Time is running out, please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Money is not really a big issue in this situation, I've already two road conversions that I'm training on so.....

Fort used to make nice steel frames. Now they're all ALU.

Thanks for the info. I was down at said lbs and he showed me the same website, so now I have an okay idea of what they look like. But still, I'm gonna do some comparisons wih the Pista. Price wise, The Fort will cost more but, I might be able to justify spending 2 or $300 m0re, depending on my income tax return.

I have a steel track Fort, it's a beaut. Fort make frames for loads of top brand names, so you know the quality will be second to none. Mine handles pretty quick, given the 75 degree head tube, and it's stiff as you like. Can't say anything for the alloy ones, but I can't imagine they'd be anything but fantastic.
