Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Help selecting best used fixed gear out of....

I live near south central LA, and go to university there. I am looking for a solid fixed gear that I can have fun with riding around with friends, across campus, or just to downtown maybe the beach. I would also be interested in tricks and whatnot. I have a separate bike for road biking but I decided I would make an account on these forums and get more involved.

Anyway, which of these three do you experts recommend?

Thanks guys!

Hey look a kilo TT! If your new to the forum, a lot of people recommend the kilo TT. Also, have you thought of building your own bike? I live in OC and often run across good deals on parts but they're up in LA. Make sure the bike fits you though, last thing you want is to buy a bike too small or too big.

Clockwork. That Kilo is not a 53 and has a bent fork.
