well said, msngr. I think next month I will bail out of the ride in view of the cops and lock my bike with a "cut here, please" sign on the chain.

You "buy it, use it, return it" guys remind me of a Saturday afternoon.....no class.

Sorry, I should have put a smile face or something to be totally clear I was joking. I guess you figured it out any way.

About half an hour ago I got my four new replacement Kryptonite locks in the mail in a small heavy box. As I opened the package the NY chain fell out and landed on my toe with no shoes on.

So ................YEAH, HEAVY.. I get it....

I saw a model called the "noose" have you seen that? I think it is a little shorter. It has a ring in the end and works like a dog's choke collar.

no worries, I knew you were joking.

I have seen the noose, but didn't notice the ring on the end. Interesting. I am trying to avoid paying a bundle for another chain - I can live without the ring, just need a short chain. I imagine buying a lower end angle cutter and cutting wheel will cost about the same as a new chain/lock set from Kryptonite. Then I will have a new tool to destroy (fix?) things with.

the chain on the piggies sounds painful!
