Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I was coming back to work after lunch and I passed this in front of a thrift shop and being the impulsive person I am I plopped down the 10 bucks and threw it in the car . It is an AMF Roadmaster basically a Department store brand from the 60’s and 70’s I think. Now the question is do you think this would make a good fixed gear (it has a 3 speed hub on it now) . I am not sure of what I want to do with it yet but if any of you Philly people think they could do something with it let me know and I will let it go for what I paid for it.
