ECC hub vs. ECC bb

Hi all

For those that have used both... will an eccentric hub work as well as an eccentric bottom bracket?

IOW, will an ecc hub on a converted bike hold proper chain tension as well as an ecc bb equipped, true SS frame?

I've got a great Fisher HT frame that I'm currently using as a SS. Luckily, 32x16 with a KMC half-link works fine, but as the chain stretches, I'm seeing how an ecc hib would be nice. Or maybe I should just ride the current set-up as long as I can, and save for a true S frame.

thanks
