Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I totally misjudged how nice the weather was when I left for my ride this morning. It's beautiful!

I started at 8am and there was a lot of ice, but now it is insanely nice outside.

Bikes: Trek road bike, schwinn fixed conversion

I only got to ride for about twenty minutes because I just started working as a security guard downtown and I did about twenty-five hours in three days walking around. Man, my knees and legs both hurt on one of the most take-advantage-or-complain-to-someone-else days! Oh well, money will be nice for a change......

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

I only made it a few blocks to get a new chain, now my bike is unridable. I couldn't even use the chain I bought - too big for my chain tool. Sucks. I'm going to get offline and try to true my wheel again... Or I could build the road conversion back up again. Nah, I'm going to get the track bike running.
