damn quill stems.

i just dont know what to get...
nitto pearl... super expensive.
soma sutro
dia compe gran compe
zenith gran compe which is supposed to be the unbranded version of the dia compe slightly cheaper or a mj cycles quill stem being the cheapest but still looking like it retains quality.

reason being these is im looking for a quill in 25.4, black with a 100mm length.

Sorry mate, I'm confused. Are you looking for sympathy or ridicule?

(go for the Nitto, I still refuse to be impressed by dia-compe though that's possibly just terminal grumpiness)

either or those who have used the others mentioned.

id like to get the nitto but being around 90 dollars for a quill is only slightly ridiculous.
I was looking at older ITM stems on ebay but havent seen any in decent enough shape.

The Soma Sutro, Zenith Gran Compe and Dia Compe quill stems are all exactly the same except for the branding and are very good for the price.

The Kalloy at Citygrounds that Soo__Fuego linked does come in 25.4, black, and 100mm. Plus, since the Op apparently has no idea what he really wants - how can you beat beat that price? It gets him riding while he gives it some more thought...

Here comes the part where it takes GENESTARWIND 8 months to actually buy a stem.

If he was looking for one of these, and found it in eight months, I'd say he was pretty lucky:
