looks great. diggin' it -

jwad 03-08-05 11:34 PM

nice.
think this would work on my older all black pista?

dolface 03-08-05 11:36 PM

it would, but, you'd most likely end up with raw steel, not chrome, since it's unlikely that there's chrome under the paint.

redfooj 03-09-05 12:27 AM

i like your bars

but is there a difference in sheen in the area (with decal) that you jasco'ed and the areas you masked off?

gally99 03-09-05 12:45 AM

i wouldn't recomend doing it on a black one... i'm half amazed he's still got a bike...
i used jasco to get decal residue off one of my bikes... sprayed it on, wiped it off, took most of the paint with it... ****'s intense...
i don't know if there's a difference between spray jasco and the kind in a can though...

but yeah, your bike looks good now...

Wow, holy god that is beautiful!...you're chains a little loose though isnt it?

Anyway, you offically have the sweetest Pista in the world.

ultra-g 03-09-05 02:14 AM

What about the head tube decal??

techone 03-09-05 02:27 AM

Nice!! I had a solid chrome trackframe once and absolutely loved it!

Me too. Don't add new decals. Brand-free is ultimate freedom.

oh yeah, and your helmet compliments the machine quite nicely.

auk 03-09-05 09:36 AM

Beautiful.

Grunk 03-09-05 10:47 AM

Stickerguy,

Sort of off topic, but what fork are you running on your pista?

I should mention that I think your bike looks rad. If I were you, however, I would mask off the chain and seat stays and spray the whole thing a solid metallic color so it would look just like a Cinelli olympic frame. That would be hot. There is a guy at some of the TDC races that has a similar paint job, all white with chrome stays and fork. I am also a fan of the slightly loose chain. I find it is better than too tight. I have only dropped a chain once, but I was doing huge bunnyhops at 0mph so it was definitly my fault.

absntr 03-09-05 11:12 AM

Jeff - what did I tell you about your chain last time? And then what happened? You dropped it.

Yours - Naz "Keeping it taut" H.

Can you spray/paint over Chrome? I thought you couldn't.
