Cheap Bullhorns

I've been riding for about two months and want to switch from bmx style bars to bullhorns.
This is a pretty low end bike so I'm not trying to invest a ton on the bars, and I also don't know how I feel about taping them. I feel like I will screw it up.

Does anyone have experience with the fyxation bars w/ track grips like these:

Or if you could steer me in a better direction. I don't really want to spend more than 40-50 on a new set.

$40-50 gets you better than cheap...

Add a pair of 340mm Origin8 grips for $10

You won't screw up taping the bars. Watch a couple of youtube videos. You can usually take the wraps off a couple of times and re-wrap if you are careful. I'm assuming you won't have to route any brake cables under the tape

I run a brake on my bike, but I assume I can just leave the cables on the outside?
It's basically just a beater for commuting to/from work and playing around with on the weekends.

If your using cross levers on the flats of the bar you wouldn't need to wrap over them. If you have tt levers you would want to wrap over. It's not really that hard either way, don't be intimidated. But , if you like track grips better then get those

The pursuits have some drop. This will put the ends of the bars lower, which you might want (especially if you were in a pursuit type race), but it means that the tops are angled down which may be less convenient for resting on.

Thanks for the help.

I think the regular bullhorn will be more suited for me then as I want something a little more comfortable to rest on at this point.
I'm doing 10-30 mile rides/commutes so I need a setup that's less sprint oriented and more for riding around at a comfortable pace.

I appreciate everyone's input.

I just bought and installed a set of Fyxation bullhorns and I like them just fine.

Flop and chops are cheaper, shorter and curvier than most "real" bullhorns. Might be a good way to test them out.

Those Nitto 018s someone linked to are really nice and more like flop and chops in a good way. Some of the cheaper bars have kinda long horns that add a lot of flex. Only thing with the Nittos is that they are fit 26.0 bar clamps which is weird since most stems are either 25.4 or 31.8 now. These Nitto RB-002's are also really nice:
