Drivetrain
Several months ago on my way to work in Chicago I came across a fixie that was running his drivetrain on the left side of his bike instead of the right. I'm curious as to the thought process behind such an install?

He's from a parallel universe where everything bad is good, everything good is bad, and evil Spock wears a goatee.

The only issue i can see is the there will be more stress on the lock ring. Normally the lock ring only gets stress when you resist the pedals or skip/skid. But in this case it would be opposite. Stress on the lock ring when you pedal.
