Hello everyone. I am new here and have been browsing the threads. I have done some research but can not find some definite answers. I am trying to identify this bike made by Bianchi. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! (Click the picture)

Looks like a pretty standard Pista.

The person who is selling it says it is a "Reparto Corsa Mega Pro Light Track RACE frame".

Can you upload a bigger picture to a site such as imgur? I can barely make out what it is.

Cell phone picture quality isn't cutting it.

Well this is what he sent me through email. Thanks.

Let's keep this thread on topic please.
Not to mention give this guy some slack, he's still learning the ropes around here.

It's a 1999 Bianchi Pista

Thank you for posting that. That is more information then I had before. Another question; how much would you estimate the bike to be bought for? I offered the guy $400 and not sure if that is too much or too little. I would be getting frame / fork + bottom bracket + chris king headset + chain.

I think you are being overly generous with your $400 offer. That frameset is very ordinary and I wouldn't pay more than $150 for the frame + fork. The bottom bracket and chain add very little value and the used Chris King headset is maybe worth $50, so perhaps $200 but no more.

You could probably get a complete used Pista for $400. As Tejano said you should offer $150 but if you already offered $400 you may have blown that chance.

Tell him you don't want it and ask a friend to offer him less.
