Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

^^^ Hardcore, neat.

This looks like a very nice fillet-brazed bike. The price has come down steadily since his original asking price of $1000. It's looking like a pretty good deal at this point.

That bike has rather bizarre proportions. The original owner must have very short legs relative to his torso and arms. This is probably why he is having a problem selling it, because the frame is very nice and there's a lot of vintage Campy stuff on it as well.

Would buy this to build a townie if I didn't already have too many bikes. Seems like a pretty good price for name-brand tubing.

Excellent condition 2009 Raleigh Clubman Frame/Fork/HS, Reynolds steel

Wonder why they felt the need to put it on rollers to photograph it? Didn't want the tires to get dirty?

True. I mean maybe he set it down gently, but at least place it on a piece of cardboard or something for the benefit of potential buyers.

That's actually garage floor epoxy coating. It's totally smooth and it looks like there's some saw dust in the CL pics.
