Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, I know that seat bag is tacky; I bought it in 1984, and it holds the mini-pump (don't like it in my jersey pocket).

I still have to dial in the fit. Modern bars seem to have a lot less drop than years ago.

My first carbon fiber bike, and about as heavy as my Cramerotti with SLX tubing was.

I can finally post here.
I ordered 2 Konas at the LBS a Kahuna and a Dew DL, brought the Kahuna home last night and will get the Dew DL friday.
Haven't had the chance to properly test the bike yet but the ride home the LBS was awesome.

Some of the nicest riding tires I've been on.

They don't seem as grippy as Michelin Pro3's to me.

Ridiculously easy to mount on Open Pro CD and Araya something-or-other.

Possibly not very tough, I had something get through tire and Mr. Tuffy last week. Haven't put in the miles to have input on long term durability yet.

I've never owned deeper than 46, so I can only imagine.

Sweet bike.

Went for a little ride after installing a new chain, downtube barrel adjuster and new shifter. Rides great, very neutral handling. shimano 105 crank, bottom bracket, chainring, cassette, hubs, rear derailleur, and calipers.Avid levers and acera 7 speed trigger shifter(much better than the 105 dt shifter) Ritchey bars,Tange stem and headset,DMR lock on grips,Bontrager saddle,Forte post and Conti gatorskins.

If you are on the fence about putting risers on a road bike you really should try it.
