If you're sure the sound is coming from the chain, it needs oil! And don't wax it.

I've got some cool greasing for dry weather and carefully oiled it. It seems like it's getting better.
Thanks for the advice!

Just picked up some nice little sram s300 cranks yesterday for $40... Comin in next week I'll have me Pauls, laced to a set of Velocity Aeroheads and my 1" surly steamroller fork to add to my build. Pretty excited about those recent purchases

It looks nice, I honestly haven't tried it out yet. It says max 115 or 120 psi, though I have my doubts

If it isn't all better immediately, it's the wrong stuff or wrongly applied. I've never heard the word greasing used as a noun, so I don't know what that is. Grease is wrong for a chain, as far as I'm concerned. There are hundreds of little tiny spaces that you can't push grease into. You need oil. Once you apply oil, your chain should be very quiet. If your chain isn't quiet, something is wrong. Fix it quickly, or you'll ruin your chain and maybe your cogs.

Just ordered this on Ebay. Free shipping from UK!! Been wanting to upgrade my saddle for a while, and I just had to pull the trigger when I saw this one.

Just recently pick up a Cane Creek 40 series 1" NoThread headset.. But a concern came to mind when I noticed it stated on the website it's for a 30mm headtube.. Will that fit my Pistas headtube?

nice, have you had them before? ive pretty much only had panasonic stuff and was wondering if gator hardshells are worth the money, and i trust your judgement.

Had them before in 700x23. I like them, they make them in wire bead and kevlar bead now. Kevlar beaded ones are a little tricky to get mounted initially, which is why this time around I went with wire and had a relatively easy time of mounting them. Wear is good, both versions are still made in Germany. The regular gatorskins are india now, plus there's not much difference price wise from the wire bead gator hardshell and the regular ultragatorskin.
