I'm a fan of GripGrab products. Really well made but not available in the US. They are available through Wiggle.

These are the Race Aqua, the lightest covers they make, basically for those chilly/cloudy days when you want to ride but know that rain is inevitable.

I've always wanted a triple tri frame and found this for next to nothing. It's nothing fancy and probly wont find much love on here... but I'm kind of impressed with it. We'll have to see how she rides. Can't wait to get home and start throwing parts at it! I might strip it down to raw steel as I like that look, and the decals appear to be under the clear coat. The finish is quite nice though, I might feel guilty stripping it

Is that a tattoo on your arm or are you somehow covered in grease minus your hand? Seriously though enjoy the new tool.

I didn't buy a thing but some good friends bought me a new CHROME BAG!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy because I was wanting a new bag because my old backpack which has served me for many many many years has long had holes at the bottom and I really wanted something without those holes.

Went to the LBS to get some handle bar shims, and asked if they had any pink anodized spoke nipples. The guy said, "You know what... hold on a sec.'' He came back and tossed me this bag and said, "Please take them, they've been here for years, you have no idea how hard it is to sell pink nipples.'' I laughed and thanked him. SCORE! One step closer to building up my rear wheel. Tomorrow I'm gonna go to a friends shop and ask him to guide me through figuring out spoke length.

I’ve got the parts fever! Super excited for this new build. This will be the nicest bike I’ve built to date. I really can’t wait to see it next to the kilo which will become the beater. I really hate waiting for parts to show up... and especially around the holidays where things take extra time to arrive. Oh well... the anticipation will make the first ride that much better! All should be arriving within the next week... hopefully

The pink toki doki unicorn plush will be the saddle hanger on this bike. I’m really odd in that; for a heterosexual male, I have a huge fascination with all things pink, Japanese, and unicorn related.

Nice CamelBak Podium Ice water bottle. Also, a funky key chain bike tool from my mother-in-law for Christmas that is supposed to be a "do-it-all" tool. Really heavy and not sure how exactly this will fit into my bike bag.

i don’t think those need to be validated with your sexuality. Not being mean at all, but like it’s basically 2019. I have a set of custom Adidas Stan smiths that are black and pink. Awesome shoes. I also have a beautiful omamori hanging from the underside of my saddle that I received at a Shinto shrine in Kyoto. Pink is a nice colour. neither it or unicorns need validation. Anyway, enjoy your bike build mate. Cheers and happy holidays.

This is true. I support people doing as they wish, if it makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone else who cares! lol. Most of my friends just like to poke fun at me for being a weirdo. As friends do hahaha.
Thanks seamuis, happy holidays to you too!

Pink or rose used to be considered manly.

Red was considered a color of war. Pink is a form of red.

I haven't counted the number of tubes I have but well over 8 tubes (though different sizes) and I rarely get flats so I say the more the merrier. I find the fewer tubes I have the more flats I get. Plus if I am ever needed for an event I can help people without much notice with tubes and spare tools and such.

If I kept my socks in a drawer you would need probably two for mine! Probably at least 100 pairs and that is a very conservative estimate.

Been showing the new bike all the love lately while the kilo TT is sitting at the shop literally in pieces. So today I trued up a rear wheel and picked up a couple little things to rebuild the kilo. One of those things was some wiiiiiiiide bars. I don’t quite understand why all the cool kids are running these, but I guess I’ll find out. My friend who owns a LBS down the street said they’re quite comfy, which is the main reason I’m gonna give it a chance. I think they look absolutely ridiculous, but worth a try I suppose.
