Hipster tax, I bet Hawaii is worse than your state

Can anyone justify paying for an 11 year old broken Bianchi Pista Concept, Arrowspok, and not pictured shimano and dura ace components of dubious condition at $1000? Is this year range rare or something?

https://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/bik/4369268255.html

I don't know what is up with the Oahu island, most of the craigslist ads here for ssfg and used carbon road bikes are feckin outrageous.

To the owner of the Bianchi Pista, if you're a member....Jesus.

Crack in seat post? More like crack in seat tube! I think that pretty much renders that frame useless.

Well, at least there's a prominent picture of the "small crack" in the seat tube.

That frame is done for. 'nuff said. Wall art or melted down into soda cans.

FWIW I've seen completes go for less in all places the bay area where the hypetax is just as high.

Aerospokes arent even that expensive as they used to be anyhow.

....Is that a Velocity Deep V for $350? I'll pretend I didn't see that.

EDIT: Just as a general question, even if it was a bike you loved and had to part with, would you overcharge? I understand starting high as a negotiating point, but at some point it becomes absurdly high....like, you know....higher than retail brand new.
