Anybody else here in SSFG chewing on matzah? How was your seder and how are you holding up on avoiding the chametz? Personally, I love matzah and making matzah pizza or matzah PB&J, among other things. Oh, Matzah and Nutella *all the nutella*

I don't post much, I come here to read stuff bike related. sometimes things unrelated to bikes interest me. things like Nutella.

other times, I have great disinterest. sometimes my hope for the future, based on the average intelligence of the human population, is challenged. and sometimes, I just wonder why in this age of technology and available knowledge that someone can invest time in faith without proof. a personal opinion which I am entitled to I'm sure you will agree.

I'm not religious either. I just want to know if there are other Jews here and how they're doing. I wouldn't have even bothered if it weren't for the Easter thread. I still love matzah. But let's not turn this into some religious debate because it will then be closed down.

there was no debate starting here. my comments should not be misconstrued as obtuse or intolerant. equalizing the christian vs jewish post count was much more passive aggressive anyways.

Matzah - maybe the first and maybe still the best carb-loading food! After four of my wife's fluffy matzah balls last night I was asleep in 45 minutes!

I grew up Mexican Catholic and identify as such, but don't practice any religion really. I was never raised to interpret anything literally or really take any of it seriously. Although I'm not religious in my personal life, I consider myself very spiritual.

Anyone who believes in, or refutes religion due to any sort of scientific "proof" or physical evidence is really missing the point. The lessons behind Easter are good for humanity and are things that every person can appreciate at any point in time. Some people (Christians) choose to consolidate the celebration of these lessons around a certain time during the year, with a certain story to go along with the lesson. Good for them.

I'm a scientist by profession btw, (research associate - nanotechnolgy), not that it matters.

They're like Aesop Fables. Do you have the same disdain for Aesop Fables? The part that pisses me off about the fable of the ant and the grasshopper, is that ants and grasshoppers don't actually talk. So stupid.

I'm with you cobs. I started the Easter thread just to see how people were enjoying the holiday, forgetting the Jewish element (bit myopic of me, glad you redressed the problem thanks). I reckon it's cool to see how other people's lives work and if you don't want to read about something, DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK. It's not hard. I do it all the time.
