Hey, what about me, I'm a cute boy, right Gilby?
Anyway, new transplant, come check me out at Penn Cycle on Lake and Lyndale and we can go for a bike ride. Always down to find new people to cruise with.

Hey ya'll I'm in St. Paul now. Road trip was mofo.
Rode through the thunderstorm this afternoon. WTF? Is all that thunder and lightning necessary?
And what is up with the humidity? I knew I wasn't on the West Coast anymore when I saw the steakhouse that was kitty-corner from the cowpens in Iowa.
Found a decent cafe with a SS riding barista. So far school is already kicking my a$$ and I have only been here two days.
Saw a blue fixie-convert Puch on campus. One of yourn maybe?

Last I was there Kenwood Cyclery closed. Sad, I have fond childhood memories of hanging out in that shop. Whats the shop over in dinky town, that one's pretty good but I can't remeber if I saw muched fixed stuff there, mostly road bikes.

Varsity Bikes? That's the only one besides Eric's that I can think of in Dinkytown...

Nice. Luna.
I'll admit. Riding in MPLS feels like the old days. I even dodge cars when they are too slow for me.
I think I have become a St. Paul boy. I dig the dive bars, I dig the neighborhoods, and I dig $2 grain belts.
I even like it when all the "Lords of the Bling" in full kit on rocket bikes with like a gazillion shiny gears give me funny looks on Summit.
Hey I may look scruffy and smelly, and my bike looks like it is missing like a bunch of parts, and I may spin out sometimes, and you can see my old ass bellwethers through my corduroy cutoffs...hmmm I lost where I was going with this.
Anyway, I likee ridee St Pauli.

i was a messenger there for 3 years.
mess gigs are impossible in st. paul there are two messes down there. Carl and a girl. both have had them for about 16 years. good luck. plus you don't want to ride in st. paul it is all legal work which is dying in the cities.
best luck is to get to know a mess in downtown and buy him/her a bunch of beer to get the gig. very hard to get in....

Mess gigs are tough to find in lots of places I hear. I'm over and out of it. But I am glad that there are some long term gigs for some people. It probably won't ever go away completely. Even in the computer age, there will still be a need to get a hard copy doc in your hands for $1.50.

What are the rates in the Twin Cities anyway?
I'm talking 1099.
Is most of the work in S to the P like all around the Capital? What about in MPLS?
How much more for a crosstown/cross river pickup to drop?
Going to Half Time Rec Tonight...mebbe...anyone anyone?
