Who Misses the "Jackass Thread"

Really…does anybody else here miss the Jackass Thread?

I always got kick out of it but the damn thing got killed off too soon after I joined here. Now I’ve run across a treasure trove of real-life Jackass Bikes from a guy who is trying to build his business in my town by foisting his jackassery off on susceptible bike dupes around here as being creative and clever.

Yeah, the abortion of what was a nice Schwinn Prologue frame that I posted a week or so ago in “What don’t you like about my bike”, which several guys could not believe was in fact real, is not mine. It is one of his so-called custom, one-of-a-kind, goodies. But without the jackass thread, I couldn’t think of a better place to post it. And there is even more:

So how about it, if everybody promises to behave…any chance we could have another go at it?

If any mods find this post objectionable, my apologies and feel free to delete...

I reckon all those bikes are yours and you're trying to blame a poor honest businessman with good taste.

We can always turn this into a Jackass thread and thus force the mods to change the title

Who needs a special thread? This is pretty much just the jackass forum these days...

I liked the previous incarnations, but it was Tom Stormcrowe himself who closed them and declared a moratorium on Jackass threads. Tread lightly here.

That thread is obviously still open - it dropped out of sight from lack of patronage, So if you miss it, have a mishap and post it

On the other hand, for whatever reasons, Jackass was shut down. But since it appears that there is not very much interest in getting it back

Is the abomination the bike seat or the quality of the photo?

Leader is awesome at posting JA bikes,.it's like 90% of the reason I follow them, the other 10% is cause I tag them in some photos in hopes of being instagram famous but they won't cause im not wearing huf sucks and on 88 mm carbon wheels.

Haha I know right, them and brotures or whatever shop that is are both equally bad. I heard leader let's interns that don't know ish run their facebook which is prob why they post terrible builds instead of only proper ones.

I think it's time. The envelope has been pushed to the right people. We'll see.

EDIT: nope, we're still in time out
