Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Please help me identify this track frame

Hello,

I purchased this track frame from a person in the Rochester, NY area. He bought the bike in the 80's and doesn't remember much about it. He included a nearly complete Campagnolo record pista grouppo. I want to see if I can identify the builder. If anyone here has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.

The fork and track ends are Campagnolo. The lugs that I can see are all chromed. Who knows what's happening under the rest of the paint...

tt=59cm c-c
st= 59cm c-c, 61 c-t

Track frame photos

Many thanks for any help!

Looks Italian. What's the BB thread?

Yes, I forgot to mention this. The threading is Italian. Does that answer your question?

drop outs and seat post clamp seem to have a name engraved. Maybe that would be a good clue

Ok. Is there a serial number? If so, what is it and where is it stamped?

It's Italian, therefore that is irrelevant.
