Bikes: Pure fix cycles
New to the forum and to road bikes
Whats up guys,
Im new here and just got a bike after a long long time of not riding.
Decided i wanted a fixed gear sooooooo i got one off cl. Basically brand new.
I bought a pure fix, and i long the thing and it was pretty cheap.
I still need to set the bike up correctly for me.
Plus i need i want to set a new gear ratio seat height and all that fun stuff.
Any recommended sites for parts or more reading info on it would be welcomed, plus I'm looking for a good shop for fixie stuff near me
I live in philly at the moment so if anyone is from around here that has a good shop in mind hook a brother up.
Anyway i just wanted to say whats up

Hi fidrift. welcome to the forum. several suggestions:
1. carefully read the stickeys.
2. put on a flame ******ent suit and don't get your feeling easily hurt. with a few posts you will see what I mean.
3. think and do some basic research before posting for help.
4. as to your specific question I suggest you search on line for Philly shops that may specialize in or carry lot of fixed gear stuff.
5. check out Retrogression Retrogression
6. have fun

europa I'm sorry my post wasn't filled with proper grammar but since I'm on a forum and not writing an office report i can careless about it. That's nice your Australian, I hear its really nice there (I've never been out of the states sadly). But take it easy over there
Thanks bowzette, i know when posting i should be more specific. I just wanted to say whats up and try to get some a little info before I go diving head first into the searching.
People don't really bother me, I'm used to the forum bashing nonsense because i am all over car forums.
Retrogression good call.
