Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

what would you git

i would like to make this poll but idk how

ok i have $1000 for a new fixie, i need something light because i carry it around on my back into places and up stare. i also like to go fast so light helps.and i would like a stiff frame because i don't have fast legs but i have strong ones. i use it to git around and to race friends. i only plan on riding it 60 miles at max in a day i have a road bike for the longer stuff. i looking for light and fast and fun. i plan to ride it every day. this is a poll of a few i have found and what are your thought thx.

You guys are mean. The OP wants a fixie. Not because it's cool and hip, but because they want to ride a fixed gear.

I would get this one.

Hey lets not make fun of that helmet. I wore that every same make/model of helmet today while working out on my trainer.

My apologies Dave. Safety first, of course. No offense intended. Do you rock straps and clips on that trainer, too?
