anyone know what the deal is in cleveland? my girlfriend is moving out there from DC where we both currently are and im trying to see how easy it is to get a job there as a messenger. here in DC the average tag is about 6.75 and i get 50 percent at laser, so its pretty easy work.

There is the Reliable Runners courier service. There was at one point talk of a union being formed, but I'm not sure what the deal is. I have seen a good many messengers in downtown when i used to clean windows there.

You can meet a few messengers at the Wed night Mayhem rides.
Meet at Public Square (downtown) 9:00 - 9:30

Cyclists meet at Public Square and sort of ad-lib a ride through and around downtown.
Usually involves plenty of beer, and some legally questionable antics.
I was the only one on a fixed gear bike last time I attended.
