clips and straps on BMX platforms?

Hi, my neighbor is giving me a set of clips and straps from his pre-clipless days, and I want to put them on my single speed but I'm currently running BMX platforms. Can that combo work? Or will I need different pedals? Thanks!

I had a set of platforms I ran toeclips on, but I drilled my own holes for them.
If the platforms have a bracket for reflectors, you can mount toeclips.

Yeah they have holes for reflectors. Maybe they'll fit! I guess I'll just have to try it.

trying yourself is always the best....but one thing to remember even if they are attachable; all things being equal, BMX plats are typically much wider than touring and track pedals. This will put the cage clip too far forward for proper foot placement.
Thats not to say that if you have small clips and big feet, it wont work.

Also, most bmx pedals (that i've seen; I'm not BMX pedal expert) are fairly hollow on the side, may get some undesireable movement of the strap. i say ditch the clips anyway.
