Kilo TT pro stolen, need new bike

Unfortunately my Kilo TT pro got stolen out of my garage, loved the bike, but want to try something different, willing to spend more money. This is for occasional commuting, getting around the city. I already have a nice road bike for exercise.

Currently looking into the State Contender Contender - Matte Black | State Bicycle Co.

Iro Mark V pro

Crew District Fixed Gear
Crew Bike Co. District Fixed Gear Bike by City Grounds

Any other suggestions of bikes I should look into?

Wabi if you've fixed your garage so that it is more than walls and a roof.

If it is still just a public cupboard, purple Huffy/Next mtb with rear brake and shifter cables all hanging loose, chain bypassing the rear derailer to a fixed wheel. Maybe just the cheapest beach cruiser that you can find on cl. Up here we've got sturmey aw equipped bikes only needing chains and tires going for $50.

Thoss bikes that you listed aren't really upgrades over a kilo. If you're only shooting that high, may as well just get another kilo. Maybe go for the kilo WT just to have a different feel?

The garage is secured indoor parking in a condo complex. This is the first ive heard about theft from our garage. Most people dont lock anything up. My bike was chained to the bike rack in my spot, but with a thick homedepot chain, nothing fancy. I had the Kilo for 3 years so it lasted me a while. I can get another Kilo but since I have the opportunity, figured id try something different. I revamped my security w/ a kryptonite wall anchor and the Kryptonite Legond chain (15mm) and lock. This time they will need powertools to steel my bike. I think the Wabi will be a little pricier that what i want to spend after I buy another brooks saddle(loved it on my last bike) and pitlock's.

What makes the Kilo TT much better than the state contendor? Is it just the value or are the components that much better? Im not looking for a drastic upgrade, just something different and something to have fun with. I know the Kilo TT pro has great value for the components, but I dont mind spending some more money for something different. I do want a black bike this time as well.

How about the Eighthinch Scrambler customized with all the upgrades(wheels, crank, ect).

Yeppers, Pepper- value.. Kilo tt pro = Chuck Taylor sneaks, state/hotrodded eighth = Chuck Taylors with kevlar/hemp laces. The crew is just a cheap aluminium bike.

Kilo + grand cru wheels would be sexy, unique and would perform and cost about the same as the state.

Would a state bike and eighth be similar quality? How do they compare to IRO?

I know Kilo is value, but i already had one and like different. Besides, once its stolen, its all the same price(price of deductible).

From: las vegas

Bikes: purty blue undefeated II 57cm

Good bike for the price, decent frame fork, crank, wheels ect.

I'd get it over the contender
