I heard a guy who owned one once say he just u locked it through the valve hole. I guess it wouldn't be too big a deal if your rear was close enough to the seat tube

You're sacrificing a whole bunch of theoretical zoom-zoom gained if you leave that valve hole uncovered.

Well, I wouldn't use a disk wheel on the road in the first place. But if for some reason I had to, I'd at least not use a quick release hub, and would also consider theft-resistant nuts.

That pista is hot.

One of these days I need to photograph the red Diamondback (I think) SS MTB conversion I see at the grocery store all the time. It's a beater/commuter, but it's kinda perfect in its own way.

That is the saddle that came on my old Cilo except it looks less used. Neat bike, horrible lock job for sure.

Why do they put bags over the bars? Or did they blow in from across the street?

And curious about those four decorative cast iron bases in the background.

The bike is mine -- I'm just being a cheeky b*****d. It never left my sight as I was getting a bagel to go.

I love that perforated Turbo Super saddle (truly a funny - and distinctly '80s - name for all you car people).

My guess is that the bags are improvised bar mitts. I don't recall seeing the cast iron bases, but they probably had table tops attached to them.

Nevermind not a perforated version on mine. Just a WCS striped version same color though. Glad it didn't leave your sight and hope it was a tasty bagel. The properly made fresh ones are always delicious, give me a nice fresh blueberry bagel and some tofutti cream cheese and I am on cloud nine!

Spotted: this noodly-looking Pista.

Not going to be there long with that kind of janky lock/job.
