True, I only ride this bike for fast riding (around 100k), not for the rides in the city. I've got a converted racingbike from Zieleman for that. Thanks for all Nice replies!

New tires = new photos. These are easily the most expensive tires I've ever bought (and I paid the LBS price, too, not the 'what can I get them for online' price), so I hope they last awhile (and are all that they're cracked up to be).

Debris is one thing but my other worry is the odd pothole that I'm inevitably not going to be able to avoid. Looks like I'm going to have to start riding super slowly if I want to protect my 'investment'.

My first set of gp4000s lasted just over 24 miles when I blew out the sidewall on the rear tire...and I had bought them from a local shop to make sure I liked them before I ordered them in mass quantities. I was pissed. It was like $70 down the tube.

All other things equal, if you're in the drops you're working with a reduced range of vision. This plays in favor of texting/homicidal urban motorists.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was referring to. I guess I should've been more specific.

Thanks guys. I like dorps, ran them in the past, and wouldn't rule out running them again in the future. But I also value diversity... both diversity of aesthetics (visual diversity) as well as a diversity or variety of riding styles and positions. Given that I already have dorps on a couple of the other steeds (road bikes, but still), I figured I'd have a go with bullhorns on the tarck bike. The RB002s do look goddamn sweet if I don't say so myself

negative.. corsas are one of the more durable tires i've ever ridden. puncture resistant, light, fast, high max psi, they also last quite a while when on skidding duty...

they are hands down my favorite tire.

What frame/fork/year? I dig it. Little extra wheelbase.

I see you took a file(?) to the top tube. Looks sanitary.
