Nice looking frame. The aluminum is good enough.
Scrod sells these frames now, he would be able to give you a better understanding since he has it in front of him.

Its nice that it has an agressive rake while still being drilled for a front brake if you choose to use one.
I'm not the biggest fan of non conventional seatposts since replacing one could be a pain if you can't wait.

It's definitely weird but in a cool way. I wouldn't ride one because it's not my aesthetic but they're pretty nice. The 6066AL frame is lighter than it looks (55cm weighs around 3.5 lbs w/ the seatpost clamp).

The diamond-shaped tubing is supposed to be crazy stiff but I haven't ridden one so I can't really say if that's hype or actual science.

Not only that, but what if that seatpost doesn't have the amount of setback that you want ? You're sol then.

It's bs.

At any rate, it's Aventon's nicest frame to date IMO. I like the white/celeste one better than the black/yellow.

Gimmeckry and marketing is the future.
