Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I never saw that series, but yes, that character would fit.

I was in an elevator with this guy once, and he asked me if i was a bike messenger. I said yeah, as I was just dropping off some stuff in the building. He told me he was from NYC, and that "where he's from, we call you guys "targets". I asked him what he did for work, and he told me he was a lawyer. I told him that "where I"M from, we call YOU guys targets". He was pretty bummed.
