Welcome Don! I hadn’t read the Southeast forum for a while again. That is a nice trail, and there are a few trails on old rail lines in this area. I tend to catch the Gainesville Hawthorn trail. I have a few miles of highway and then take the Waldo Road trail and connect to the Depot Trail which connects and ends up on the north end of Hawthorn. A few mild hills around the sinkholes near Payne’s Prarie. Summers are a bear around here, but love the winters.

Hi Don! Welcome from Central Florida. We have several nice trails down here as well. Once project I'm excited about is the Florida Coast to Coast trail project. They are attempted to connect many bike trails to go from the Atlantic to the Gulf all via bike trails. It still has a ways to go but I think it's really cool initiative.
