I live in Charleston, WV, but just spend the weekend with relatives in Lex., KY. I was amazed at how easy it was to get around Lex. by bike. Although Lex. is in a region of rolling hills, it did not have the long, steep climbs we have in WV. There were lots of bike lanes and paths, but even when one had to ride with traffic I found motorists very respectful of the cyclist's right to use the road. And there were so many bike stands everywhere! I never took the city bus, so didn't notice if they have bike racks or not.
