Shelby bottoms / Nashville TN

I was riding the shelby bottom greenway today here in Nashville. Good news for those that ride here, the Stones river connector bridge will be open in about two weeks. I spoke with the foreman there today. The bike bridge is beautiful.

Happy Biking.

Couldn't be any worse than a skinny 46 year-old geezer . The bridge has been "open" for a while if you're willing to cross a fence or two...

Yeah, I noticed tire tracks and the gate was a little....ummm...run over . But like I said, the foreman was there and they'd just paved .

Hmmm...cool. I've take the family out for a ride on the Stones River part. It will be nice to have more options for a longer outing!

still confused

thanks for the maps- but does the stones river greenway go to the battlefield and about how many miles could we go without spending too much time on major roads, we are planning on coming down in july and would like to get in 50+ miles besides doing some hiking in and around sparta any reccomendations on that would be helpful
