Shreveport Riders?
Is there any bike culture at all left in Shreveport, Louisiana? I'll be in town next weekend and I'll be bummin' around on my bike. Just wondering if there's anyone else out there that knows of anything happening bike-wise.

You got me curious, so I did a bit of googling around.
I found a bike club, although the website is out of date: https://www.shreveportbicycleclub.org/
I found a blog that mentioned a Critical Mass Ride in November: https://redriverblogjam.blogspot.com/...e-ride-in.html
I found that evidently, there was a Tour de Goodwill held there last May, although I don't see info for a ride for this May on the website. Going to mapmyride may locate the Tour route, though.

Not sure what might be going on there these days. I was stationed there back in 05 and the scene was pretty good with a combination of racers and rec riders. Here is a list of "training rides" from Team La'Sport's website, https://www.teamlasport.org/training.html Their website appears outdated as well but I have ridden most of those routes so you should be good there.
