I was on that ride and thought that my ride, who has been known to over do it, had fallen out. Then I found out what had actually happened.
The guy that got stabbed needs surgury for a hernia from the belly wound, the leo's/emt/hospital lost his $200+ shoes and cut off his kit.
I had been hit on one of our usual routes in Orange Park by a 50+ yo woman from the same area of town as that ****** bag. Not related I don't think but, she showed no remorse.
The frightening thing about any of these stories is the hateful comments against cyclists.
Then there was the dui that hit 3 out of 4 cyclists in St Augustine (not an hour away).
