TN Gran Fondo

(Not affiliated with the Gran Fondo shop in any way....)

Another event coming up in October is the Gran Fondo Cycles version of the Gran Fondo happening on 9 October. I did the ride last year and if the course is the same it was both beautiful and tough, with a ton of climbing, a mile or so of packed gravel, scenic barns and creek side roads with lots of Fall color.

How bad is the packed gravel? I might be interested in doing this also.

I think I am in, I need to look at the calendar and see how it works in for the Clarksville 5k and the Go Commando Half Marathon.

Sounds like a good ride. Not sure about the gravel and dirt roads, only two miles though. I'm doing the Smoky Mtn. Wheelmen century on Sat. 10/08 or I might be tempted to try it. Thanks for the heads up, maybe next year.

The Gran Fondo looks like a cool ride to do. Seems like coming from Florida it is something worthy of making a long weekend out of it.
