Bike Forida

Thinking about coming down from NC for Bike Florida. It would be a nice break in March for some warmth. Any experience with this ride?

Enjoyed it last year. Seemed well organized. Rest stops were mostly destination points instead of re-fueling stations which I liked. You have a choice on food options which I also prefer. I enjoy going into town and having a cold one after a long day in the saddle!..... Some people prefer Bike Safari which only requires one move and includes breakfast and dinner in the price. Pretty much same routes every year for Bike Safari so I no longer attend. Bike Florida this year is only offering full week registration so my friends and I are looking for other alternatives. If your looking to get some miles in either ride accomplishes that.

No, but you've put this on my radar for this year. I'll need something like this by March for sure.

I'm signed up for Bike Florida. I've never done it before, but a couple of my biking friends have done it in the past and recommended it. I thought the panhandle route this year would be interesting with more scenic variety since the route takes you along the coast. The ride begins and ends in Tallahassee. Anyone else have experience with this, or signed up this year?

I think it is too late. I believe the ride is sold out.
